McKnight Construction was founded in Pollok, TX in 1973 with a goal to provide complete satisfaction, quality, and professional work with the finest and best products/materials in the industry at affordable prices. Our specialty is metal structures of all kinds, including barndominium residences, workshops, roofs, barns, sheds, carports/covers, and commercial buildings. McKnight has been deeply ingrained in the East Texas community for many decades and is proud to serve clients throughout the region and beyond. Founder Robby McKnight’s unwavering commitment to client satisfaction built the firm's stable foundation and created a platform for continual growth.

In 2024, McKnight Construction was acquired by Undivided Life Holdings, due to their belief that McKnight is well-positioned to continue expansion within its current geographies and eventually expand beyond East Texas. Undivided Life was initially attracted to the opportunity because of McKnight’s long history of performance, strong brand recognition, and excellent people. As they learned more about Robby McKnight personally – what he stands for, what he has accomplished, and the team he had assembled – they knew this business was a perfect fit for their team and grew excited about the opportunity to partner with Robby on the company’s next chapter.
